  Unfortunately, I've just moved into this apartment complex two weeks ago. Worst decision ever! This is by far the worst experience I've had with any leasing office/management. Cindy is extremely unprofessional, rude, and nonchalant. I quickly found out there's a rodent/rat infestation in my building that's been an ongoing problem for awhile now. Other neighbors I've spoken to have stated they've had the same issue within their apartments over the duration of their stay. I live alone in a two bdrm apartment and have heard scratching and other noises at night from the presence of rats. I woke up to see excess wood and droppings under my kitchen cabinet from where the rats chewed a hole through the wood. I went to discuss my issue with Cindy, in which she only offered to make a work order for maintenance to come out the next morning. I told her that I have an extreme phobia of rodents and they would need to come by today. Maintenance came out, "filled" one hole with a spray and then set out a sticky pad under the hole. The same night I saw a rat the size of a rabbit running through my kitchen, which means the "effort" to fix the problem was unaffective. I spent the night at a relatives that night out of fear. The next day I contact her and explain my experience she responds nonchalantly and says she'll have pest control come out. Pest control retrieves a mouse on a sticky pad from my kitchen. Keep in mind, this isn't the rat I saw the night before, which means there's more than one! I have never lived under such unsanitary, inhumane conditions and I will not start now! I have paid Candlewood, in advance, 3 months of rent, however I've had these issues only after 2 weeks of residence. This isn't acceptable and management should be held accountable. The affordable rate in rent is not worth your health, peace of mind, or safety. Do not move here! They will take your money and do nothing to accommodate their tenants!
